Nothing teaches like the daily paper.  These 54 hands-on activities, structured around topics such as money management, food and nutrition, and health and safety, have students use particular sections of local newspapers to locate and apply information.  Students look for employment, furnish an apartment, buy food, plan an evening out, and much more.  Each worksheet is partnered with a detailed teacher page including specific objectives and step-by-step directions.
