If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Walch Education takes the protection of user data very seriously.
All user data is only used for education-related purposes and is never shared with any third parties without the consent of an authorized representative of the applicable school or district.
Additionally, student data is handled in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations pertaining to student data privacy, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the California Student Online Personal Information Protection Act (SOPIPA), and all applicable state or federal student data privacy protection laws.
We collect the following types of information from the educator, school, or district to use on their behalf for educational purposes: school names, school districts, teacher names, teacher emails, class names, student names, student account numbers, and class rosters.
We consider Student Data to be confidential and do not use such data for any purpose other than to provide our services on the educator, school, or district’s behalf.
We share information within the Curriculum Engine as needed for the teacher’s classroom management, reporting, etc. School and District administrators also have access to student data.
Storage and processing: Any information collected in the Curriculum Engine is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the Curriculum Engine outside of the United States, you consent to have your data transferred to the United States.
Keeping information safe: We maintain strict administrative, technical and physical procedures to protect information stored in our servers. Access to information is limited (through user/password credentials and two factor authentication) to those employees who require it to perform their job functions. We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to safeguard the account registration process and sign-up information. Other security safeguards include but are not limited to data encryption, firewalls, and physical access controls to building and files.
The system does not collect, use, share, or keep student information for non-educational purposes. When a student leaves the system, or at any point in time, all requests to delete data will be honored. Users will also be allowed to request access to and review their data whenever they want.
